Trammell Crow - Sparks Tract - Carlisle, PA

The Sparks Tract is just one of many warehouse projects designed by Evans Engineering, Inc. in the Carlisle, PA area. This site of 107 acres features two (2) distribution facilities totaling 1.3 million square feet of gross floor area. While located within industrial zoning districts of two (2) distinct municipalities, the site is still somewhat near to residential communities. EEI was instrumental in working with both municipalities to develop a design that satisfies the client’s needs as well as compliments the surrounding landscape. Additionally, these facilities are designed to be LEED certified. EEI has contributed in the site design with “green” features such as anti-idling signage for trucks, stormwater hydrodynamic separators, sediment forebays, on-site infiltration basins, and native landscaping. EEI’s services included: boundary & topographic survey, site design & permitting (Township approvals, PADOT Minimum Use Permit, NPDES Permit), infiltration study & testing, geotechnical analysis, environmental assessments, historical & archaeological studies, traffic impact study, and construction phase services.
